How come peoples’ spinach still looks so green and vibrant? I find that after the requisite number of hours in my slow cooker, they are much more brownish in hue :c
Tastes like pizza soup!
Ugh !Now I want some. Guess I know what in making for dinner.
Going to be honest, I wish posting this would be banned
I forgot the recipe!!

One single post and now we’re back to the same repetitive photos of tortellini soup every other hour. FFS.
We swap one of the cans of diced tomatoes with fire roasted tomatoes, it’s adds a lil extra something.
This is my second attempt with the slowcooker, first one was an failure and we had pizza instead. I am very anxious when it comes to certain things, like food. To fail, to throw away and waste of money and time. Incl the feeling of have wasted money on the slowcooker. After first attempt I was hesitant to try something, but the overall positive posts and comments about this one made me daring to go for it.
Happy I did!!
Now, it was an really easy to prepare dish, that’s already a plus, but I will personally add and change things with it next time.
First I could not get enough chicken thighs, so half was breast in chunks. Didn’t really saw nor tasted a difference, so next time I just take what’s cheaper and available. Second, we like more heat, so I will add some chopped chilipepers into it and/or exchange half of the tomato paste with hot chilli paste. Another thing was that my partner thought of was that it would be a really nice pasta sauce if it was slightly thicker, so we will try that out as well one day.
All in all, very nice soup. Really easy to make and it only looks intimidating in the recipe, but it’s not. Also I didn’t used the microwave either, just a pan. Though next time I will use my slowcooker for that part as well, learned that it has that function as well.
This was my take of it and information I could give. Maybe it helps someone who is struggling like I am. 💖
Wife finally made this for me yesterday. So good! She used chicken thighs because moisture and added the sausage too.
It looks super yummy! My dad used to make something similar but without the cream and it was really nice. I would definitely use some polish sausage or chorizo instead of chicken or maybe add them all in haha.
Looks really good. Is there a link to the recipe? Do you just use the prepackaged tortellini?
