[Suggestion] Frozen potato
The thing I make most often are stews, like the one below. I cook it up, put it into plastic tubs and freeze it. When I come to defrost it, I will typically have it with some nice bread, but I found Aldi (UK) do some nice frozen potato. Sticking some of that at the top of the bowl before you start defrosting/cooking makes for a presentable and tasty addition to your stew.
* Potatoes (more this time)
* Burgers/mince/chicken/other (break them into pieces and flash fry them)
