  1. This is beautiful. I’m not from Texas but I have family down there that we visited a lot growing up and so my first exposures to “authentic” barbecue were from Texas and to me, it is my absolutely favorite style. I’ve hit the “go-to” places for other styles in St. Louis and Memphis and Georgia and the Carolinas, but nothing hits me like Texas brisket and beef ribs and sausage. Very jealous right now—glad you enjoyed!

  2. My mouth is watering just looking at that feast. My brother keeps telling me to move from California and to join him in Texas. As a carnivore that loves, loves, loves barbecue, this picture has done more to convince me than all of his arguments!
