Indian veg food is probably the tastiest in the world. I could eat it every day, there’s so much variety. Chickpea and potato go great together in a curry!
I love the texture and flavors of the fried bread and chickpea curry. The local Indian restaurant makes this dish as part of their weekday lunch buffet and it’s my favorite.
Man you people are not ready to hear about kachori
I ordered this once from a vendor at a train station in Punjab about 20 years ago, and I still think back to how good it was. Never had it as good since.
What’s going on with the arm???

I’m not Indian but my dad and aunt were born in and grew up in Calcutta.
Growing up, I would often be treated with my aunt’s Indian cooking, which included Dahl poori (which looks almost identical to what you have here).
How similar are they and do you have a recipe for this that you can share?
