Drunk you cooks for sober you? New way to be kind to yourself! Bon appetite. 🙂
As far as a recipe goes, i usually tend to wing it with my ingredients but the central components are:
1 can chipotles in adobo
1/3 cup vinegar (apple cider is my choice, only had distilled)
1 or 2 tbsp of Lime/Lemon juice (depends what i got)
5 decent sized cloves of garlic, minced
2-3lb chuck roast, normally cut into cubes but drinking + sharp knife didn’t seem like a good call
As far as seasonings, a mix of Cayenne, Paprika, Chipotle Powder, Adobo, Sazon, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Liquid Smoke (condo doesn’t allow an actual smoker so I learned to love it) depending on what’s in the spice cabinet. Its pretty easy to twist and change it to your personal preference.
Cooked on low for about 12 hours, then on keep warm as we got everything together for dinner. Topped with chihuahua melting cheese and Mexican Crema. She had tacos, i had burritos!

Drunk slow cooking seems much healthier than drunk internet shopping. Excellent decision, drunk you, way to look out for sober you. Also, that’s some good looking barbacoa.
