Easy Homemade Cinnamon French Toast Recipe

Let's see How easy to make French Toast at Home

Hi Guys, I’d like to share a simple breakfast recipe, also suitable for your child’s lunchbox, to enjoy the break-time at school. Trust me, your kid would love it, we loved it back then, when we were schooling. Just as the taste, it’s heavy enough to keep your kid full and active until after-school. It’s none other than the, so-called FRENCH TOAST. I don’t know whether it originated from France nor do I know whether it’s consumed quite often there. Let’s not think about that, ha-ha, instead let’s enjoy having it.

Its quick n easy to make, and the ingredients are easily available as well. Ok, no more talking. Let’s go checkout the recipe

Ingredients

  • Sliced bread 7-8 slices
  • Large Eggs – 2
  • Milk -1/2 cup (not too hot, either luke warm or normal room temperature)
  • Sugar – 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Vanilla essence – 2 drops (optional)
  • Cinnamon powder – quarter teaspoon (optional)
  • Butter or Margarine (to grease the pan)
French toast with eggs

It would take only around 15 minutes to prepare Cinnamon French Toast . Let’s get started.

Step -01

Break one egg at a time, onto a saucer, to make sure they aren’t spoilt. Get a dish, wide enough for a slice of bread. Add the two eggs, salt, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon powder to it and beat the ingredients well using a spoon, add the milk and beat again, so that the ingredients are well mixed.

Step -02

Pre-heat a pan for a few seconds, until hot (non-stick pans always makes cooking life easier). Add a small piece or a quarter teaspoon of butter to it, and swirl the pan so that butter is spread well. Make sure the fire is on medium flame.

Step -03

Dip both sides of the slice of bread, one side at a time, in the egg mixture, place it on the pan, let one side cook until golden brown, then toss over and cook until the other side is golden brown as well.

Repeat the same procedure with the rest of the slices of bread. And you are done.

Serve hot, for a better taste.

Note: *It’s okay if you don’t have vanilla or cinnamon powder, we add it only for the extra flavor and aroma, not using them causes NO harm to the taste.

       *Nonstick pan doesn’t require butter, however, using butter would add to the taste.
