- Flour – 200g
- Sugar – 150g
- Butter – 120g
- Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – 1/4 tsp
- Chocolate chips – 200g
- Egg – 1 (large)
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp

First of all measure all the ingredients using your kitchen scale, because the amount you add matters a lot in the final output.
LET’S HAVE A LOOK STEP BY STEP HOW TO MAKE CHRISTMAS SOFT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE RECIPE
STEP – 1
Take a glass bowl, add 120g of butter. Make sure the butter you use is at the room temperature. Then add 150g of sugar. You can use either brown sugar or white, it’s your choice.
Beat them until smooth.
STEP – 2
Now add 1 large egg into the mixture and beat well, and also add the vanilla essence into the mixture.

STEP – 3
Get the flour, add baking powder, baking soda and salt into it and sift it. And add the flour to the mixture. Mix everything with a wooden spoon. Make sure everything is combined evenly. Then add the chocolate chips into the mixture and again mix everything one more time.
Now the cookie dough is ready.
Preheat the oven.
Now take equal amount of cookie dough using a spoon and make it into balls of equal size.
Spread a baking paper or aluminum foil on your baking tray and place the balls with enough gap between them and bake them in batches for 15 minutes on 180°C
