The things we need to make this yummy soup are
Chicken 500g
Water 6 cups
Salt 1 teaspoon
Peppercorns 1tea spoon
Cloves 4 – 6
Oil 1 tablespoon
Carrot 1 (medium-sized)
Mushrooms 4 – 6
Cabbage 75g
Spring onions 2
Celery 2 stalks
Eggs 2
Noodles
Soy sauce 1 tablespoon

WATCH HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN SOUP WITH VEGETABLES
To begin with wash the chicken well with some turmeric powder and place it in a large pot add water and salt and bring to boil. Keep the pot covered with the lid. Lower the heat and simmer for about 30 – 45 minutes until the chicken is tender.
Meanwhile, take a small pot and hard boil the eggs. Once it is boiled peel it and slice it using an egg slicer if you don’t have an egg slicer just use your kitchen knife to slice the egg and keep it aside.
While the chicken is cooking take a spice grinder and grind the peppercorns until fine and then add the garlic into it and grind again into a coarse paste. Set it aside.
Take 4 – 6 shallots cut it into fine pieces and stir fry it until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the pan and drain on a paper towel. Keep immediately in a sealed jar to retain crispness.
Check whether the chicken is cooked if the chicken is tender remove from the bowl and let it cool slightly then cut the chicken into cubes and set aside
Cut the carrot into pieces and the mushrooms as well and also cut the cabbages and spring onions into fine pieces
Then add the carrot and mushrooms to the soup and retain to boil, cover and simmer for about 5 minutes and then add the cabbage and spring onions and also the celery then simmer for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are cooked then add the chicken and eggs soya sauce and noodles to the soup heat through. And then the Asian style chicken soup is ready.
Serve in individual serving bowls you can garnish it with crispy fried shallots, you could serve it for 6 people. You can have it as your dinner too. Don’t forget to try this mouth-watering chicken soup with vegetables.
