A foot of snow fell, so it was a great day to make a different, thicker variation of “the soup” for a cozy dinner. And it was Clementine approved!

  1. [this](https://www.instrupix.com/slow-cooker-creamy-sausage-tortellini-soup/) was the inspiration.

    My changes:
    – seasoned with garlic, onion powder, oregano, and a generous spoon of calabrian chiles in oil.
    – used fresh, not frozen pasta
    – only used 2 cups of stock because we wanted it thicker. It was still liquidy enough that we ate it with a spoon.

Perfect with crusty bread, a large glass of wine, and there’s coconut chocolate chip bread pudding baking in the oven.

  2. I dunnoo that looks like disapproval to me. Whatever it is she’s looking at, even though she doesn’t know what it’s even for, she’s still disapproving. Because she’s a cat.

    looks great though

  3. That looks amazing. My wife tried this once and we didn’t like how it turned out too much it was just okay. The cream cheese didn’t work out too well maybe she didn’t melt it enough idk? Yours looks fantastic tho

  4. This looks so good :0. I wanted to ask if I could use frozen spinach and how to add it? Could you also provide an example of what kind of Italian sausage is used? I’m trying to find something similar; is it a salami? Or like a chorizo? I can only picture ground beef while using a slow cooker tbh.

I would love to recreate this, but I’m really not sure what an equivalent in dutch would be.

Thanks for the recipe btw! 🙂
